摘要

在過去的12 年( 1992-2003 )間，筆者在尋找與記錄台灣黑鳶(Milvus Migrans)的聚集、繁殖、覓食、棲地、行為、數量等過程中，陸續發現黑鳶一些十分有趣的生活內容，值此《台灣猛禽研究》創刊之際，特別整理本文與大家分享，也希望透過這些有趣的數據與觀察，讓大家對黑鳶有更近距離的認識。

During 12 years (1992-2003) of investigation of the Formosan Black Kite(Milvus Migrans), I have encountered many interesting things in their lives. Herein, I present some statistics, e.g., the highest population count at an evening roost site was 77, the earliest fledging month was March, the longest period a nest was 7 years, etc., as well as some interesting stories.
