林鵰在台灣北端大屯山區的首度發現
The First Record of the Indian Black Eagle (lctinaetus malayensis) in the DaTun Mountain Area in northernmost Taiwan

On September 2, 2005, the day after Typhoon ”Talim” had approached Taiwan, I was watching birds and taking pictures of insects on a hill in DanShui, Taipei County. I saw an Indian Black Eagle (Ictinaetus nalayensis) soaring close to me. It appeared several times that September. On September 7, 2 Indian Black Eagles were sighted together. This is the first record of the Indian Black Eagles in the DaTun Mountain area and also the northernmost record in Taiwan.
