深色型灰面鵟鷹在台灣的首次影像記錄
The First Photo Record of Dark-morph Grey-faced Buzzard (Butastur indicus) in Taiwan

Grey-faced Buzzard (Butastur indicus) is one of the common migratory raptors in Taiwan. Almost all of the sightings are on the normal morph GFB. On March 18, 2008, the author observed a rare dark-morph GFB and was able to take photo records of the sighting. This was only the second sighting reported of the dark morph GFB in Taiwan so far, and probably the first photographic record in Taiwan. The rare sighting suggests that the dark morph GFB population is a very small percentage of the whole GFB population.
