影響學生英語能力之內部因素探討

Study on Intrinsic Factors Affecting English Language Competence

摘要


國內近年來學生英語程度低落已是一項不爭的事實,在語言輸出及理解上呈現各種不同類型的錯誤,深深地影響到個人的語言技能。究其造成這些錯誤的背後成因,除了教師素質、教材教法、教學環境等不同外在影響因素外,學生個體本身因素也是一項不可排除的主因,它是錯誤的根源,也是語言學習成功與否的關鍵所在。爲能有效地提升個人外語技能,排除交際時的障礙,實有必要對此內部影響因素作一番徹底的了解。本研究在文獻探討方式下,以我國學生英語學習過程中所犯之語言錯誤爲對象,收集相關資料,對引發錯誤的個體內部因素作一分析及歸納,從而進一步了解學生英語學習的內部障礙。

Over the past few years, it became more obvious that students with low level of English language competence increasingly appeared from elementary schools to colleges and universities. Different types of errors in interlanguage made a deep impact on communicative competence. In regarding to the causes which resulted in such errors, the internal parts of learners were the main factors. Therefore, it is needed to investigate the internal influencing factors on communication very thoroughly. We use the method by documents researching to figure out the backgrounds of errors in English language. Errors in language learning and use will be collected and analyzed. On the basis of the analysis and discussion, it is hoped that the influencing factors will determine which areas in the learner's communicative competence need more attention.
