祖父母親職參與和幼兒社會情緒行為之關係

The Relation between Grandparents' Parenting Involvement and Children's Social-Emotional Behavior

摘要


本研究之主要目的,在探討祖父母參與親職與幼兒的社會情緒行為發展之間的關係;並了解影響祖父母親職參與的因素。本研究採用問卷調查法進行,採立意取樣抽取台南縣市和高雄縣已立案公私立幼稚園3〜6歲之幼兒,共274人,分成相處時間15小時以上和15小時以下兩組。所得資料以描述統計、t考驗、卡方檢定、MANOVA、Pearson積差相關、多元迴歸分析方法進行統計分析。歸納主要結果如下:一、祖父母教養行為因其教育程度、母親職業不同而有差異;參與內容則因祖父母教育程度、母親職業、父親教育程度及照顧原因不同而有差異。二、祖父母參與時間在幼兒社會情緒行為上無顯著差異。三、從相關分析發現祖父母關懷和尊重教養行為愈多,幼兒的正向社會情緒行為(利社會、親和、獨立自我控制)愈多;祖父母對幼兒生活常規的指導、教導人際關係愈多,幼兒表現利社會、親和行為愈多。祖父母參與幼兒的休閒娛樂愈多,幼兒的利社會行為也愈多。四、從迴歸分析發現,祖父母的關懷行為可以預測幼兒的親和行為;另外尊重行為、教導人際關係、生活照顧一起可以預測幼兒的獨立與自我控制行為。也就是祖父母的關懷行為愈多,幼兒表現親和的行為愈多;祖父母的尊重行為、教導人際關係愈多、同時生活照顧愈少,幼兒的獨立與自我控制行為愈多。最後,依據研究結果,提出具體建議,以作為日後在親職輔導、家庭教育、政策制訂及未來研究方向之參考。

The main purpose of this study was to explore the relation between grandparents' parenting involvement and children's social-emotional behaviors and the factors affecting grandparents' parenting involvement. Questionnaires were applied to this study. Subjects were 274 kindergarten-aged children from Tainan and Kaohsiung city and county. Grandparents were divided by involvement time above and below 15 hours. Data was analyzed through descriptive statistics, t test, Chi-square test, MANOVA, Pearson Product-Moment Correlation, and stepwise regression. The main results showed: 1. Grandparents' parenting behavior varied according to their education level and mother's vocations. The contents of involvement varied according to grandparents' education levels, mother's vocations, father's education levels and grandparenting reasons. 2. There was no significant relation between grandparents' involvement time and children's social-emotional behaviors. 3. The more concerned and respectful behavior grandparents adopted, the more positive social-emotional behavior children performed. The more guidance for daily discipline and interpersonal relationship grandparents were involved, the more prosocial and friendly behavior children possessed. The more grandparents were involved in children's recreational activities, the more children's prosocial behaviors were observed. 4. According to regression analysis, children's behavior can be predicted by grandparents' concerned behavior. Also, children's independence and self-control behavior can be predicted by grandparents' respectful behavior, guidance for interpersonal relationship and daily care. In another words, the more concerned behavior grandparents offered, the more freindly children were; the more respectful behavior and guidance for interpersonal relationship grandparents offered, the more independent and self-control behavior children had; the less daily care, the more independence and self-control. Finally, according to the results, some suggestions were offered for future parenting counseling, family education, policy-making and further study.
