摘要

普渡儀式是一種具備高度民俗特色的道教拔亡類法事。儀式的主要意涵為超度往生者，將亡者之魂魄引領至西方極樂世界。在台灣南部地區，普渡儀式是相當普遍的，舉凡拜神類的建醮禮斗法會、農曆七月之中元節或是喪家出殯前一晚都可看到普渡儀式的展演。普渡儀式的宣行是由人聲唱誦及樂、法器演奏所組構而成，因此音樂在儀式進行中扮演的重要的角色，本文將以台灣南部靈寶派道士所唱誦之普渡儀式音樂為主軸，從「儀式」與「音樂」的關係中來探究科儀音樂的功能。

Pu-du ritual is one kind of high level traditional customs of Taoism which is to release the soul of the dead from hell. The meaning of the ritual is to leading spirits of the dead to paradise. Pu-du ritual is very common and popular in the south part of Taiwan, especially when Offering Ritual, Lidou Ritual, Chungyuan Festival or even when the day before burial there are many different style of performance was held in these dates. Due to the Pu-du ritual consists of the sing, traditional musical instruments and other instruments used in Buddhist or Taoist services. Musical plays a very significant role when the ritual is holding. This essay is according to the song which was sang by the Lingbao taoist from the south part of Taiwan to explore the relationship between ritual and music.
