The purpose of the study is to explore the types of psychological capital of Taiwanese hospitality industry practitioners and to understand the psychological capital status of Taiwan's hospitality industry practitioners. Because the psychological capital has significant impact to human development in hospitality industry. In the study, a questionnaire survey was used to the top 300 hospitality companies in Taiwan, and returned 1428 effective questionnaires with the effective returned rate of 47.63%. The results show that the psychological capital of the hospitality industry's employees can be divided into three types: the high psychological capital, the moderate psychological capital and the low psychological capital. And the higher the educational level of employees that have higher the psychological capital requirement.
