This 88-year-old bedridden women patient had history of Congestive heart failure, atrial fibrillation, diabetes mellitus, essential hypertention, hyperlipidemia, right MCA infarction and Chronic renal failure with N-G tube, cystostomy. The patient received Chinese medicine treatment due to recurrent urinary tract infection and cystostomy tube obstruction in more frequent in recent one year. The syndrome differentiation is deficient energy of Kidney and Spleen, moisture in Bladder. Modified Fu Zi Tang and Zhu Ling Tang are prescribed. The patient's turbid urine and recurrent urinary tract infection have improved significantly. This case is a successful example of Chinese medicine intervention that improves the quality of life.
