About 7% children of school aged between 6-12 years are frustrated with Nocturnal Enuresis. The treatment of Western medicine including enuresis alarm, desmopressin, anticholinergics and imipramine is effective, but it has the disadvantage of high charge and side effects. Therefore, many patients accept traditional Chinese medicine treatment. Based on a review of Chinese medicine and western medicine periodicals, literatures and textbooks and a case study, we tried to discuss the treatment approaches to nocturnal enuresis in order to offer some reference for clinical treatment.
