針灸推拿治療腕隧綜合症之臨床病例報告
摘要
本文透過腕隧道症候群病例報告，彰顯出中醫的針灸及傷科手法若運用得當，可以在臨床治療上獲得意想不到的效果。本病例為46歲女性病人，教師；三年前經某醫院診斷腕隧道症候群，近兩個月症狀加重故接受局部類固醇注射治療，其效果並不明顯，病人雙側手腕手背手指完全僵硬疼痛無法活動，平時須依靠止痛藥緩解，經由我們的治療緩解臨床症狀達90％，三個月後隨訪仍達70％。我們的治療最主要是（1）先針刺雙側PC4（XiMen）, PC6（NeiGuan）, SI6（YangLao）, LU6（KongZui）, and LI9（ShangLian）；（2）拔完針後，緊接著按法、揉法、一指禪推法、搖法、拔伸法、捻法、擦法等推拿手法鬆動手指關節、拔伸手指手腕。

Acupuncture and Tui-Na were used to treat a 46 year-old female patient with bilateral carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS). Prior to receiving acupuncture treatment, she had been administered steroid injections, but the symptoms were only relieved temporarily. In order to avoid surgery, the patient opted to received six sessions of treatment, and her overall response was very positive. This case report documents the use of Acupuncture and Tui-Na to provide beneficial symptomatic treatment to her CTS and allowed her to continue with her occupation without.
