Carpal tunnel syndrome is one of the most common peripheral neuropathies. The most common cause is repetitive wrist movements leading to compression of median nerve. Therefore, a more in-depth inquiry regarding occupation and hand movements will lead to a more thorough treatment plan and patient education. This is a case of a 78-year-old patient with hypertension. He suffered from numbness and pain in left wrist down to all five fingers of the palm side, and sleep disruption because of numbness since October of 2020. After ten acupuncture treatment sessions, the severity and frequency of numbness and pain significantly alleviated.
