手術室環境設計教學光碟對護理系學生自覺學習成效之影響

The Effectiveness of Learning for Nursing Students on Intervention of Operating Room Environmental Design Teaching Video Program

摘要


背景:「手術室環境設計」對護理系學生而言,是抽象難以理解的概念。若能透過臨床情境影音拍攝,能讓學生將課本知識與臨床實境做有效連結。目的:旨在探討手術室環境設計影音光碟對護理系學生學習成效之影響。方法:本研究採橫斷式研究設計,以中部某科技大學日間部護理系修習手術室護理學課程的45位學生為研究對象,以結構式問卷進行資料收集,再以SPSS for Windows 18.0版進行資料處理與分析。結果:(1)手術室環境設計教學光碟學習成效前三名排序,依序為「增強對手術室環境設計的空間概念」、「更加了解手術室內部組織等相關位置及功能」、「比書本更能增強與輔助對手術室環境設計的了解」。(2)「年齡」、「性別」、「大學前學制」等因素未造成手術室環境設計影音光碟之學習成效之顯著差異。結論:藉由此影音媒體教材製作,可提升護理系學生對手術室環境設計之了解,進而強化未來適應手術室護理臨床工作的能力。建議不僅運用於課堂教學,也可作為手術室新進護理人員職前訓練之參考。

Background: To nursing students. "operating room environmental design" (ORED) is a concept that is abstract and difficult to understand. Therefore, videos of actual clinical operations were shot to enable them to effectively link their textbook knowledge to actual clinical operations. Objective: To investigate the effect of ORED vide o program on the learning results of nursing students. Method: This study adopted a cross-sectional study de sign and selected 45 nursing students from a university of science and technology in Central Taiwan as the study participants; the said students were day-time students who enrolled in a course of operating room nursing. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and processed and analyzed using SPSS for Window s version 18.0. Result: (1) The top three benefits of the video program on students' learning results, listed in a descending order, were "enhanced spatial concept of ORED", "improved understanding of the internal organization of operating room such as organizational position s and functions", and "a learning method that outperforms textbooks in helping and enhancing students' understanding of ORED". (2) The learning results of the students using the video program did not differ significantly between different factors such as "age", "sex," and "pre-university education system". Conclusion: This teaching video program not only can improve nursing students' understanding of operating room (OR) environment, but al so enhance their ability to work in the OR. The results could be used as references for future clinical nursing staff training.
