近幾十年來,醫學進步已使癌症、慢性病等疾病死亡率顯著降低,儘管如此,病人仍因生活品質、汙名化(stigma)及死亡等因素而感到憂慮、沮喪、無望和憤怒。在臨床中,除了提供治療與加強溝通之外,維護病人心理健康也是重要照護措施。本文將簡介希望感理論以及有關癌症病人之實證研究,透過具體可行的目標、方法與意志力三項元素來提升病人的希望感,最終能在靈性上達到安適的境界。
In recent decades, medical advances have significantly reduced the mortality rate from diseases such as cancer and chronic diseases. Despite this, patients still feel worried, anger, depressed and hopeless due to factors such as quality of life and stigma. In clinical practice, besides providing treatment and strengthening communication, maintaining the mental health of patients is also one of the key points. This article will briefly introduce the theory of hope and empirical research for cancer patients. Through the three elements of concrete and desired goals, pathways and agency, the patients' sense of hope will be enhanced, and finally they will reach a state of spiritual will-being.
