Badminton match is roughly divided into single and double in the past, there were still lots of differences between them. As a result, the purpose of this research was to select suitable players and training methods by comparing single-match-players and double-match-players who own some special skills. 32 badminton players joined this program, and technical skills of badminton were tested once after a week. In order to confirm the test credibility, choose the best data in these tests. There were 13 technical abilities in this research, being tested. We evaluate the test credibility and compare the difference between single-match and double-match by both pair and independent-T tests and the significant level was estimated at α=.05. The result of program showed that the scores of double-match-players were obviously higher than single-match-players' (p<.05) at carrying badminton in turning back run (31±2.13 vs. 29.5±1.59 sec), serving the ball in short distance (44.5±2.68 vs. 3.14 38.6 score), hit ting stable-flying ball (33.8±2.41 vs. 26.5±1.86 score), beat low-handed to wall (40.9±1.82 vs. 37.8±2.14 score) and backhand-stroke beat ball high and long (40.6±1.36 vs 39.6±1.15 score). The only achievement which single-match-player is superior to the double-match-player was serving the ball in long distance (49.5±3.76 vs. 47.9±3.86 score). This research may help people who have basic badminton skills to be a double-player and understand what kinds of trainings as a double-player should put emphasis on.
