動畫與繪本融入教學對不同學制與性別的學生學習之影響—以科技大學國文類通識課程為例

THE IMPACT OF ANIMATION AND PICTURE BOOKS INTEGRATED INTO CHINESE TEACHING ON DIFFERENT EDUCATIONAL SYSTEMS AND GENDERS IN A TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY: AN EXAMPLE OF A CHINESE GENERAL COURSE

摘要


本研究以前後測設計的準實驗法,探討動畫與繪本融入國文類通識課程,對不同學制與性別的學生之學習動機、學習成效與學習滿意度的影響。實驗對象為臺灣中部某科技大學日、夜、進三種學制各一班畢業年級的六朝志怪小說選修課學生,研究者以自製的多媒體動畫和數位繪本融入教學,讓學生學習一學期的課程;期初、期末皆以線上測驗方式,帶領學生上數位學習平台各填寫一份問卷與測驗,而得到125份有效樣本。以t檢定、雙因子共變數與變異數分析檢定資料之結果顯示:進修學院不同性別的學生與夜間部女生之學習動機有顯著的進步,日間部不同性別的學生與夜間部男生的學習動機卻無顯著進步。進修學院的學習動機明顯高於夜間部學生,二者並明顯高於日間部學生;女生的學習動機、學習成效與學習滿意度皆高於男生。故如何改進教學方式,提升不同學制與性別的學生之學習表現,是教師們義不容辭的責任。

With a quasi-experimental approach implemented by a pre-test and post-test, this study aims to explore the impact of animation and picture books integrated into a Chinese general course toward different educational systems and genders on students' learning motivation, satisfaction, and effectiveness. The experimental subjects are three classes from three divisions (day school, night school, and continuation school) of a university of science and technology in the middle of Taiwan. The elective course is "Chinese Mysterious Stories of the Six Dynasties". The "multimedia animation and the digital picture book" is integrated into the course for one semester. The subjects have to take a test and fill a questionnaire on-line in the beginning and the end of semester respectively. One hundred and twenty-five valid samples are collected. T test, two-way ANCOVA and ANOVA are used to analyze the collected data. The results show the learning motivation of female students from night school and students of both genders from continuation school are clearly enhanced. The learning motivation of male students from night school and students of both genders from day school show no significant difference. The learning motivation of continuation school is clearly higher than night school students, both are obviously higher than day school students. The learning motivation, satisfaction and effectiveness of female students are higher than the male students. Thus, how to improve teaching methods and enhance students' performance among different educational system and gender is teachers' moral obligation.
