虛擬實境技術應用於傳統師徒制技能學習之影響

THE IMPACT OF APPLYING VIRTUAL REALITY TO THE LEARNING OF TRADITIONAL APPRENTICESHIP SKILLS

摘要


近年來,數位科技應用於課堂教學與自我學習有著明顯的成效。在美髮技藝訓練課程中,較缺乏使用新媒材來輔助教學或學習應用的案例。本研究開發「虛擬實境剪髮技能訓練」系統為美髮技藝課程輔助教具。探究運用此系統於課堂教學,對於學習者的學習成就與動機的影響。實驗對象為台灣北部某時尚造型科60位學生,採準實驗模式進行研究。實驗組學生接受VR輔助教具學習,控制組學生以傳統師徒教學方法。實驗結果歸納如下:(1)學習成就方面,實驗組導入科技輔助教學後成績明顯優於控制組。(2)運用「虛擬實境剪髮技能訓練」系統輔助教學,兩組學生的學習動機有顯著差異。(3)在技能訓練上,透過「虛擬實境剪髮技能訓練」系統的操作輔助,可以達到傳統師徒制技藝教學的成效。

In recent years, the application of digital technology in classroom teaching and autonomous learning has seen promising results. However, there have been few cases of using new digital media in hairdressing training courses to assist teaching or learning. This study developed a "virtual reality hair cutting skills training" system as a supplementary learning aid for hairdressing skills courses and explored the impact of using this system in the classroom on learner achievement and motivation. The experimental subjects consisted of 60 students from a fashion styling department in northern Taiwan. Students in the experimental group received VR-based supplementary learning aids, while students in the control group received traditional apprenticeship learning. The experimental results showed that (1) in terms of learning achievements, the experimental group receiving technology-assisted learning performed significantly better than their control group counterpart; (2) there was a significant difference in the learning motivation between the two groups of students; (3) in terms of skills training, the hands-on assistance of the "VR hair cutting skills training" system can achieve the effect of traditional apprenticeship skill learning.
