The origin of literature has an inherent relation with the absence of God. Blanchot's thought on ”the space of literature” not only explores this relation but also deconstructs the identity between Man and God in onto-theology, and world centered humanism. On this basis, the theory of the action of literature brings out a new literary theory, and develops a more radical form of action than traditional political revolution, which could be called the weak action. The weak action is the action of a subject's self effacement and renunciation, just as Christians believe God did in the Creation and the Passion, and by negating power and negativity itself the weak action detaches the violence of metaphysics, and declares the repetitious beginning of not the same but the difference.
