This article describes a patient diagnosed with terminal breast cancer who also developed negative emotion as her disease was progressing and posing a threat of imminent death. A biopsychosocial and spiritual holistic evaluation was made during the period between 2015/5/3 and 2015/5/20 and she was found to suffer from such health problems as difficulty in breathing, malnutrition, and hopelessness. The author gave the patient appropriate nursing care and effectively alleviated her dyspnea and improved her nutrition according to her condition, stamina, and family support. The author also succeeded in establishing good relationships with the patient and understanding her needs and wishes through empathy, caring, communication, and hospice shared care. In conclusion, the deceased completed her unfulfilled wish and her family achieved peacefulness in mind.
