臺灣長期照護的服務類型與照護範圍

臺灣之人口老化問題日益加速，對長期照護之需求是現在及未來的迫切需要重視之問題，專業醫療人員都應該具備對長期照護的瞭解，才能對個案做合適的轉介及資源的連結。臺灣長期照護的系統是由三大行政體系管理（衛生署、內政部與退輔會），照護的服務部分更有重覆提供及存在照護不明確的灰色地帶，以致於容易對服務類型與照護範圍造成混淆。因此，本文的目的是藉由文獻統整長期照護的定義、緣起及概況，並說明長期照護的服務對象、服務內容，也同時列表加以比較分析。另外，針對長期照護的喘息服務及連結式服務做了介紹與分析，期盼藉由此統整性的整理，對長期照護及資源的連結能有相當的助益。

An increased aging population in Taiwan demands attention to issues related to long term care. There are overlaps and gray areas among three systems that provide long-term care in Taiwan which confuse both clients and caregivers. Health care professionals need to have a good understanding of long term care to provide clients with proper referral and resources. This article is a system review on the genesis, definitions, and current profile of long-term care, including services, target population, respite care service and other resources.
