摘要

隨著日新月異的資訊與通信科技與設備的進步，遠距護理超越地理與時間的限制，不但能遠端監測個案，更能提供安全有效且快速之護理服務。在過去文獻中已證實護理人員在遠距照護與遠距居家照護具有顯著之價值，反觀國內對於遠距護理的概念卻尚未萌發。本文目的在闡述遠距護理之定義，國外實行現況與成效及國內未來實行可能遭遇之困境。期能提供國內護理人員深思遠距護理重要性之依據。

The advancement of information and communication technologies allows nurses to provide safe, effective and timely information and surveillance to of distant living patients, especially those who are disabled, elderly or have chronic conditions. The result of past researches showed the value of providing telenursing care in a community health nursing arena. This article examines current telenursing practice, its effects in other countries, and potential issues if implemented in Taiwan.
