Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the influence of reading leisure involvement on reading leisure benefits and the well-being of senior graders in Nantou elementary schools. Method: Questionnaire-based survey and proportional stratified sampling were adopted in this study to collect data. 500 questionnaires were distributed with 431 valid returns. The effective return rate was 86.2%. Result: The reading leisure involvement was positively and significantly related to reading leisure benefits of senior graders in Nantou County. Attraction, centrality to lifestyle, and self-expression of the reading leisure involvement, and educational, social, and psychological benefits of reading leisure benefits could predict the well-being of senior graders attending Nantou elementary schools. Conclusion: Therefore, teachers should actively promote reading leisure activities, and develop students' interest in reading. It should be urgent attention to improve students' reading leisure involvement, reading leisure benefits and well-being.
