淺談澳洲及臺灣之護理教學:以澳洲昆士蘭科技大學及長庚科技大學為例

Briefly Introduce Nursing Teachings at Australia and Taiwan: The Examples of Nursing Programs from QUT and CGUST

摘要


護理教學的發展趨勢已趨於國際化,護理教育機構若能激發學生競爭力、培養學生多元之專業能力及英語能力,增加學生「宏觀的視野與世界互動」及「多元化的生活能力」,將能使畢業生更能勝任逐漸國際化的醫療環境需求,邁向國際接軌與全球佈局。國際間對於護理教學體制與訓練各有不同規劃,經由澳洲昆士蘭科技大學(Queensland University of Technology, QUT)海外見習過程,筆者實際參與長庚科技大學澳洲海外見習澳洲護理教學課程一個月(2013/08/2~2013/09/01),體認澳洲護理教育學制與課程教學明顯不同於臺灣外,在學習方式與態度上也有極大差異。此為難得之學習經驗,故藉此篇論述分享參與經驗與反思,深入探討澳洲護理教育體制與教學,歸納其相異處並提供建議,期能增加臺灣護理學生知能並提供護理教育者參考。

Globally, nursing teaching has development to increase international perspectives during these few years. If nursing educators can inspire students to promote their skills and English proficiency at school, students can have more international competitive abilities facing the diverse nursing environments. After these students graduate, they can easily get used to gradual international medical environment in regards to globally trend. Nursing teaching systems and training courses in different countries have multiple programs. After one month (2013/08/2~2013/09/01) participating in nursing program at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), the different experiences and perceptions of nursing education and learning attitude existing between Australia and Taiwan discuss by these four students at this study. Hopefully, this paper can provide a better knowledge of study exchange program and a better understanding of nursing education program to those exchange students and nursing educators in Taiwan.
