In this study the method of one-group pretest-posttest design was used to obtain results on the implementation of a general curriculum which integrates Global Climate Change Scientific Issues into an education course at a technical university. A total of 75 freshmen participated in this study. The researcher used the questionnaire designed by She (2010) for a pre-test and post-test among all subjects. This questionnaire investigated the influence of the general curriculum on students' cognition and attitude. Descriptive statistics, t-test, and one-factor covariance analyses were used in this study. In addition, the researcher of this study also conducted interviews among students to solicit their opinions about the curriculum. Results show that the curriculum has a positive influence on both students' cognition and attitude and may be of interest to future educators designing general curriculum for technical university students.
