由《列女傳》談通識課程中的性別教育

On Gender Education in General Studies Course from Lie-Nyu Zhuan

摘要


性別教育是通識教育的重要內涵,如何透過課程培育學生性別平等觀念,是規劃通識課程時必須思考的核心重點。從小到大,學生對於性別的了解來自各個面向,當學生對於性別議題沒有深入理解,將會不自覺的表現出不合宜的性別態度與行為。大學生在大學就讀期間必須修讀至少28學分通識教育課程,因此透過學校通識教育的適度引導,建立學生正確的性別平等觀念是相當具體可行的策略。而完整的性別教育的設計,必須兼顧性別知識的傳授及性別平等態度的建立與啟發。本研究主要目的是以性別教育的視角,透過文獻分析法以及思想性的反省批判思辨。首先探討在通識課程裡性別平等教育的意義,接著討論古代經典的性別觀察,並指出在通識課程裡,透過課堂裡經典文學的導讀,融入性別教育,可提升學生對於經典文學以及性別平等的學習興趣。本論文以在通識教育開設《列女傳》為例,探討如何透過古代經典,省思其中有關性別平等的意涵與價值,使性別平等教育的精髓能更深植且落實於通識課程中。

Gender education is an important part of general education. Through the curriculum, cultivating students' concept of gender equality is the main point of thinking when planning general course. Students' gender knowledge comes from all sides. When students do not understand gender issues, there will be a wrong attitude toward gender. Our students must attend at least 28 credits of general education during their university studies. Through the appropriate guidance of school general education, the establishment of students' correct concept of gender equality is a concrete and feasible strategy. The design of the complete gender education is bound to take into account the rationality and sensibility, and the establishment and enlightenment of the attitude of gender equality. The research methods of this paper are mainly based on the perspective of gender education, through literature analysis and criticism. First, explore the significance of gender equality education in general education curriculum. Secondly, we discuss the ancient classics of gender observation and point out that in the general curriculum, the integration of gender education into the ancient classics in the classroom can enhance students' interest in classical literature and gender equality. In this paper, the general education of the Lie-Nyu Zhuan is adopted as an example to explore through the ancient classics to think about the meaning of gender equality. The essence of gender equality education can be implemented in general education.
