In the old oral instruction, Luan Yu-the Female Ancestor in Tujia nationality's myths, the cosmology has relevance to the Theory of expounding appearance in night sky and the Theory of sphere-heavens. And it is similar to the Myth of Pan Gu. So is the Myth of Golden Eggs, which existed in ancient Indian Brahmanism. It is said that the Theory of sphere-heavens and the Myth of Pan Gu came from Indian cosmology while Indian Buddhism been introduced to China. If it is correct, the cosmology of Luan Yu could be traced back to the Myth of Golden Eggs. However, the Theory of sphere-heavens appeared at the end of Western Han Dynasty, and the concept which is similar to the Myth of Pan Gu was recorded before Buddhism been introduced. Thus, it is not certain that the Theory of sphere-heavens and the Myth of Pan Gu do come from Indian cosmology, and it cannot be confirmed that the origin of Luan Yu is the Myth of Golden Eggs either.
