湛若水《春秋》學初探－論湛若水對《春秋》定位及解經方法

摘要

湛若水是明代儒學重要的學者，其青年時受學於陳獻章，後與王陽明一同提倡聖人之學，在明代心學家中幾有與王陽明有分庭抗禮之勢。《春秋正傳》則是湛若水對《春秋》重要的註解，但歷來卻少有學者對此進行專門研究。本論文即是湛若水之《春秋》學進行初步研究，主要的重點在論述湛若水對《春秋》性質的定位及其解經方法。湛若水認為《春秋》雖經孔子筆削舊魯史而成，但孔子並沒改動原來的字句，僅做刪節而已。湛若水這種見解與一般儒者之說有異，本文整理並論述湛若水主張此說的三個理由。湛氏由這種看法進一步發展而出的解經觀點是：《春秋》雖有大義，但此大義並無法以義例的方式解讀出來。湛若水認為要解讀《春秋》要有兩個要件：對史事的了解與「大其心胸而觀之」。湛若水不僅在理論層次陳述其對《春秋》的見解，亦同時以此法通解《春秋》全書。這在宋明心學家中無疑是非常獨特的成果。

Chung Ruo-shui is the important scholar in the Ming Dynasty. He is Chen Xian-Zhang's student and slso as famous as Wang Yang-Ming. ”Chun-qiu zheng-zhuan” is important books which he wrotee. But few scholars carry on research to this theme. This thesis studies the ”Chun-qiu zheng-zhuan” for the first time. Discussing the localization of the ”Chun-qiu zheng-zhuan” and explanation method in main focal point. Chung Ruo-shui maintain the Chun-qiu is written by Confucius, but the materials are all obtained from old history books among them. Confucius only leaves out some contents, has not changed its content. Chung Ruo-shui mainly explain the Chun-qiu must possess two terms: Find out about historical fact and Unselfish judgement. Chung Ruo-shui explains the Chun-qiu not only has theories but also has real achievements.
