青少年參與線上遊戲之影響研究

The Impacts of Online Games in Adolescents

摘要


自從1990年以來,隨著網際網路的發展興盛,促使網路遊戲成爲青少年重要的娛樂活動,而隨著線上遊戲在青少年族群引起流行後,「線上遊戲」一直被視爲當代青少年的危險指標,有研究認爲線上遊戲的存在可能會影響青少年的正常發展,並認爲其影響更甚於電視,因此負向心理及行爲影響的相關議題引發許多學者專家的關注與討論,然而這樣偏頗的研究觀點在近幾年來漸漸引起遊戲相關學者的注意與討論。因此本研究以量化方式驗證青少年在線上遊戲中所感知的影響,包含正向及負向情緒及影響。研究成果發現青少年在線上遊戲上所感知的正向情緒及正向影響上均高於平均值,這顯示青少年認爲線上遊戲將會爲其帶來樂趣、興奮感、成就感等正向情緒,並且也會提升其認知能力、溝通能力、解決問題的能力、領導能力、助人能力等。而在負向情緒及影響上,青少年之自我評估的研究結果上顯示均低於平均值,結果顯示青少年認爲線上遊戲爲個人帶來的負向情緒及負向影響之認同程度偏低。

With the popularity of the internet from 1990, the online game has become the most popular entertainment for adolescents. However, the online game is also marked as a danger index to adolescents. Researchers claim that the negative impact of the online game is much more than the television, and the online game hinders the growth of adolescents. Thus, the issue of the negative impact of online games always causes the attention of scholars and researchers. Recently, some researchers challenge the stereotype of the online game, and investigate the positive perspectives on this issue. The study adopts the survey research to explore the impact of online games on adolescents and theirs positive or negative affects. The results show that the adolescents' perception of positive affects and positive impacts is higher than the average score. The results also imply that the online game is able to bring adolescents enjoyment, excitement, and the sense of achievement. Meanwhile, the online game assists adolescents to improve their abilities such as the cognitive ability, the ability of communication, problem solving, leadership, and helping behavior. On the other hand, the results disclose the score of adolescents' perceived negative affects and impacts is lower than the average, which suggests online games will not result in adolescents' negative affects and negative impacts.
