新移民家長親職教育課程內涵建構之研究

A Study on the Content Construction of Parenting Education Curriculum of the New Immigrant Parents

摘要


本研究旨在分析新移民家長參與親職教育的現況,了解新移民家長親職教育之需求,以建構親職教育之重要內涵。為達上述目的,本研究採文獻探討和訪談法蒐集資料。在訪談法方面,本研究採立意抽樣,選取八位來自印尼、柬埔寨、越南等國家,且家中育有學齡兒童之新移民家長接受訪談。受訪對象的結婚年數介於7至13年之間,來台的時間都超過7年,其原生長國的教育程度介於國小肄業至高中肄業之間,目前所擔任的工作多偏向非技術性工作,社經地位不高。本研究依據質性研究之五個步驟,亦即1.文本的抄錄及逐字稿編碼,2.文本的整體閱讀,3.發現事件與視框的脈絡,4.再次整體閱讀資料,5.分析意義的結構,確認共同的主題,藉以分析本研究資料,本研究之結論如下:(一)在現況及需求方面,受訪之新移民家長由於家庭經濟因素、對自我的信心不足以及配偶或家人的不信任等因素,大多較少參與親職教育活動。(二)本研究所建構之新移民家長親職教育課程內涵包含1.參與子女學校教育的態度與方式;2.正確的教養子女與親子互動方式;3.家庭成員溝通的技巧,以及建立和諧家庭氣氛策略;4.營造學習型家庭之策略;5.母職角色與文化之覺醒與肯定之正向信念;6.提供充實家庭文化資本的技巧;7.孩子心理發展與優勢潛能的了解;8.協助子女做好生涯發展的準備之知能與技巧。最後,依據本研究結論提出建議,供政府及學校實施新移民家庭教育之參考。

This study aims at analyzing the current situation that the new immigrant parents participate in the children's school education and parenting education, and understanding the demands of parenting education of the new immigrant parents, so as to establish the important content of parenting education curriculum. In order to reach the above mentioned purpose, this study adopts the purposive sampling to select eight new immigrant mothers who come from Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam, and so on, and have school-aged children for the interviews. Their ages for marriage are between 7 and 13.They have lived in Taiwan for 7 years at least. Their levels of education in original countries includes elementary schools and high schools. Their jobs are almost non-professional. The results are as follows: (1) Most of interviewed new immigrant parents are less involved in the activities related to their children's school education and parenting education. (2) The parenting education of new immigrant parents contain six major items: the cognition and comprehension of the role of a new immigrant parent, the understanding of the children's mental development and potential advantages, the exploration of proper parenting ways and parent-child interactions, communication skills, the parents' attitudes towards and ways of the involvement of children's school education, the construction of family's learning atmosphere, the modest educational aspiration for the children, and the establishment of the vision of a healthy family.
