奮起湖生態觀察空中廊道之可行性研究

本研究目的在：（一）瞭解奮起湖地區遊客的旅遊認知。（二）評估奮起湖地區興建生態觀察空中廊道之可行性。（三）建議生態觀察空中廊道最佳興建地點。（四）維護奮起湖地區森林遊憩資源、提供國人一個優質的生態旅遊環境。本研究採分層抽樣法，共訪得全國各縣市去過奮起湖地區的遊客558位。研究假設爲：（一）遊客擁擠認知會影響其遊憩承載量認知。（二）遊客遊憩承載量認知會影響其遊憩衝擊認知。（三）遊客遊憩衝擊認知又會影響其忠誠度。研究結果發現：（一）若遊客量持續增加，將會讓人有過度擁擠的感受，同時也會造成觀光負面影響。同時，受訪遊客也不太認同增加森林樹冠走廊吸引遊客會使當地商家帶來更多商機，反而就遊客而言，降低對奮起湖之旅遊忠誠度。（二）於奮起湖地區興建生態觀察空中廊道暫時不可行。（三）若真要興建生態觀察空中廊道，自然生態環境與史蹟人文風貌應有更完善的保護計劃；或選擇其它遊客較少地區，比較不會對奮起湖地區造成負面影響。（四）若能捨建生態觀察空中廊道，鼓勵奮起湖地區觀光業者從事「非消耗性」且「高附加價值」的生態或文化之旅，較能維護奮起湖地區森林遊憩資源、提供國人一個優質的生態旅遊環境。

The objectives of this study are to: (1) Understand tourist perception in Fenchihu Area. (2) Study the feasibility of the Ecological-Observation Hanging Bridge in Fenchihu area. (3) Suggest the best location for the Ecological-Observation Hanging Bridge. (4) Offer tourists a quality recreation environment by preservation the resources. 558 respondents from each county in Taiwan were surveyed by the stratified sampling. The research hypotheses of this study are: (1) Tourist perception of crowding will impact their perception of carrying capacity. (2) Tourist perception of carrying capacity will impact their perception of tourism impact. (3) Tourist perception of tourism impact will impact their loyalty. The research findings are: (1) Tourist will feel crowded and negative tourism impact if the tourist number is increased. The hanging bridge won't create business opportunities for local tourism business; on the contrary, it may lower tourist loyalty. (2) It is not a good idea to build hanging bridge in Fenchihu area presently. (3) The hanging bridge can be built in a low population area or only if the cultural and natural resources are well preserved. (4) Instead of building hanging bridge, the nonconsumption and high value-added eco- and cultural tourism are recommended for both preserving the natural resources in Fenchihu Area and offering tourists a quality recreation environment.
