Using the spa tourists of Syh-Chung-Chi as a case study, the objectives of this study are to: (1) understand the demographic background and consumer style of the spa visitors, (2) explore the importance and the satisfaction of the spa visitors, (3) discuss the relationship between the demographic background, the importance and the satisfaction of the spa visitors, and (4) make suggestions to the spa managers of the Syh-Chung-Chi area. This study surveys 360 respondents. The research findings show that most respondents are young generation. They are short distance are and are looking for fitness, health and leisure purposes. The older they are, the more they travel with their friends and relatives. The longer distance they are from, the more days they stay in the Syh-Chung-Chi spa area. By t-test and One-way ANOVA, this study also finds that the spa tourists of different demo graph background have different importance and the satisfaction regarding their spa visits.
