This study explores gender differences of jogging intention and behavior of adolescents. The population is college students. Data were collected in 2002, obtaining both intention and behavior data. The results revealed that there were no differences in attitude and subjective norms for boys and girls. Girls perceived less resources and ability to jogging than boys. There was no difference in intention between boys and girls. Boys had more jogging experience than girls. Two conclusions were drawn. First, the predictive models of jogging intention and behavior between males and females are similar, with past behavior being the best predictor of jogging intention. Second, the attitude and frequency of jogging between males and females are the same, consistent with literature. Recommendations were made for practice and future research.
