近年來外籍移工在台工作人數快速增加,如能了解國內外籍移工的旅遊行為特性,有助於擴展現有之旅遊市場機會。本研究目的在於探討不同國籍移工於旅遊偏好之差異,選擇台中地區的外籍移工為研究對象,經現地問卷調查收集,獲得有效問卷410份,經由資料分析顯示外籍移工旅遊飲食偏好包含「風味美食」、「特色小吃」2個因素;旅遊交通偏好包含「火車」、「計程車」、「公車」3個項目;旅遊住宿偏好包含「便利機能」、「風景地區」2個因素;旅遊育樂偏好包含「自然風景」、「活動參與」2個因素,此外,越南、印尼及菲律賓外籍移工於旅遊飲食偏好的「風味美食」、「特色小吃」與旅遊交通偏好具有顯著差異。研究結果顯示外籍移工具有明顯旅遊偏好特性,且不同國籍外籍移工於特定旅遊偏好具有差異。據此,研究結果提供有意爭取外籍移工旅遊市場之觀光業者參考。
In the past decade, the number of migrant workers had increased rapidly in Taiwan. Understand the travel preference of the migrant workers could expand the market opportunities. However, few studies focus on migrant workers' tourism behavior. The purpose of this study is to explore different nationalities of migrant workers' travel preferences. The individuals responded to the on-site survey in Taichung city. The results indicated that migrant workers prefer local delicacies and snack specialties in the category of food preference; transport preferences include train, taxi and bus; accommodation preferences include convenience and scenery area, entertainment preferences include natural scenery and activity. In addition, there is a significant difference on food and transportation among Vietnam, Indonesia, and Philippines. The findings suggested that migrant workers have obvious characteristics of travel preferences. Implications for theory and practice are discussed.
