村上春樹『一人称単数』における語り手の「記憶」－各短編のつながりを中心に－

村上春樹の『一人称単数』（2020年．文藝春秋）は、八つの短編を収録した短編小説集である。「三つの短い話」というタイトルで『文學界』に掲載された三編には「死」という共通項が際立っている。一方、同じく『文學界』に掲載されているが、タイトルは「連作短編「一人称単数」」となった四篇において記憶と自分の内面との関係性が共通している。計量テキスト分析を通して、「「ヤクルト．スワローズ詩集」」は『一人称単数』において異質の一編として浮上してきた。「ヤクルト．スワローズ詩集」で明記された「村上春樹」は記号として各短編に一貫性やつながりを与えられる「特定のテーマ」であり、各短編における複数の語り手を「単数」に集約する装置だと考えられる。『一人称単数』の「一人称」は個人というレベルを超えた伝承可能な「記憶」を語り継ぐ語り手だと考えられる。

Three of the stories were published in ＂Bungakukai＂ under the title ＂Three Short Stories,＂ and the common thread of ＂death＂ stands out. On the other hand, the four stories with the title ＂A Series of Short Stories in the First Person Singular＂ share the same relationship between memory and one's inner self. Through the quantitative text analysis, ＂The Yakult Swallows Poetry Collection＂ emerged as a heterogeneous piece in ＂First Person Singular. The ＂Haruki Murakami＂ specified in ＂The Yakult Swallows Poetry Collection＂ is a ＂specific theme＂ that can give coherence and connection to each short story as a symbol, and it can be considered as a device to consolidate the multiple narrators in each short story into a ＂singular＂ number. The ＂first person＂ in ＂First Person Singular＂ can be thought of as a narrator who passes on ＂memories＂ that can be handed down beyond the level of the individual.
