Since Taiwan admission into the World Trade Organization (WTO), there are face strong competitive pressure from international farm produce imports. Taiwan's agriculture has been improved crops and production techniques to raise the volume and quality of their products, and to develop different services by information technology to foster competitive advantage. Therefore, this study discussed traceability system application for agri-food in recent and proposed the RFID mobile production-distribution system analysis and design for agricultural industry. We have an interview with farmers to understand farmers' needs, and have been applied RFID technology to design and build up the prototype of RFID mobile production-distribution system, and contribute the conclusions as a reference material for future studies.
