摘要

早產視網膜病變為早產兒最常見的眼科疾病。罹患早產視網膜病變的嬰幼兒未來可能引發相關的眼睛病理、其它視覺障礙及發展與教育上的問題，亟需早期療育的介入。本文先就早產視網膜病變之盛行率、成因與致病機轉、視覺併發症等相關醫學議題做一概述，再論及視網膜病變的早產兒在各方面發展上可能面臨的衝擊，最後提出實用的早療策略供家長及相關人員參考。

Young children with retinopathy of prematurity may result in a range of ocular pathology and other visual impairments and have immediate intervention needs. This article discusses about the relevant and critical medical issues of retinopathy of prematurity. Future developmental and educational impact on these children is detailed and analyzed. Most importantly, several practical early intervention strategies are suggested.
