再思全國高級中等學校技藝競賽效益-以「教具製作」為例

Rethink the Effect of National High School Skills Competition: Using Teaching Aid Making as an Example

摘要


全國高級中等學校技藝競賽可謂臺灣每一年培育基礎技術人才之重要教育盛事,而「教具製作」於110學年度將在職種名稱、參賽資格、競賽範圍、評分標準等層面有所轉變,故本研究採用文獻分析法(literature review)與訪談法(interview survey)訪談北部地區某一高級中等學校幼兒保育科2名學生以及1名指導教師,並蒐集相關資料,以作為立論依據。本研究受訪者表示,成為「教具製作」職種選手效益包括:(一)傳承技藝﹔(二)具備參賽經歷;(三)擁有技優資格。而依據上述訪談結果,本研究提出:(一)進一步釐清參賽選手資格﹔(二)提供專業且多元的進修管道﹔(三)適時提供指導教師所需資源﹔(四)建置完善的學生補救教學計畫與生涯輔導規劃﹔(五)擴大研究場域,或採用不同研究方式持續探究本議題等五項具體建議,以供主管教育行政機關、學校以及未來研究之參考。

The National High School Skills Competition is an important annual education event for cultivating skilled talents in Taiwan. In the academic year of 2021, the competition category of teaching aid making will be considerably changed in terms of the name of the category, the eligibility criteria, the scope of the competition, and the scoring criteria. Thus, this study adopted literature review and interview survey for data collection; two students and one supervisor of the Department of Early Childhood Education in a senior high school in northern Taiwan were interviewed. According to the interviewees, the effects of participating in the teaching aid making competition include: (1) passing down skills; (2) having the experience of competition participation; (3) being eligible for special achievement and screening-based admission. Based on the interview results, this study proposed the following five recommendations for education authorities, high schools, and researchers: (1) The eligibility of the competition participants must be clarified; (2) Professional and diverse channels for the participants to conduct advanced studies should be provided; (3) Necessary resources should be adequately provided for supervisors; (4) Comprehensive remedial education program and career guidance plans should be established; and (5) The study field can be expanded or different research methods can be adopted to further explore the effect of participating in the National High School Skills Competition.
