This report describes the nursing care experience in the emergency room for a sexual assault victim. The duration of nursing care was between AM 0:00-04:20, January, 10, 2006. The patient’s mother and policewoman accompanied her to go to the emergency room. The medical group of emergency care offered immediate protection and isolation measures. This was followed by emergency documentation as part of the operative procedure of sexual assault victim, including examination and classification of the first-class wound. The patient name was substituted for number ”995” to avoid two degrees of injury. During the emergency care, the methods of data collection used were included observation, face-to-face interview, and physical examination. The major health problems of the case included pain, fairness, and rape trauma syndrome. In addition to concern and charge, the author also established the safe and comfortable environment to let the patient fully relax and rest. Therefore the case quite coordinated in examines injuries and collect evidences. Finally, to help the patient accept herself, face the problem, and enhance confidence in herself.
