This study examines how the performance of Taiwan terrestrial television industry is impacted upon and competed by the Cable Television. We employ the methods of Data Envelopment Analysis to analyze the performance of China Television Company operated under high competitive pressure in the television market. First, the interviewing is utilized to determine the key input and output variables. Second, a set of performance evaluation model is established for China Television Company. Furthermore, we use slack analysis to highlight the direction of how to improve the performance.
