探討員工滿意度與病人安全文化認知之相關性

To Study the Correlation between Employee Satisfaction and Patient Safety Culture Awareness

摘要


目的:本研究目的為探討員工滿意度與病人安全文化認知度的相關性。方法:採橫斷性研究,調查時間為2018年9月至2019年2月,調查對象為中部地區某區域教學醫院員工共1,377人,採用普查方式發放網路問卷,問卷內容分別為員工滿意度、病人安全文化認知與人口學資料。發放1,377份,回收849份,回收率為61.66%,有效問卷數為507份。結果:回收樣本分析,女性佔78.3%,已婚佔53.5%,非擔任主管職佔85.2%,護理人員佔54.2%居多。在滿意度及病人安全文化認知上,以男性、教育程度高者或擔任主管職者,其滿意度或認知度上顯著高於其他特質之員工(p<.05)。在員工滿意度與其病安文化認知分析,兩者呈顯著之正相關(p<.05),同時,員工滿意度具顯著預測員工病安文化認知之預測力(p<.05)。結論:當員工滿意度越高者其對病人安全的認知或重視也越高,特別是在與上司之互動、工作穩定度與升遷(含能力進階與考核制度)這三項,對員工病人安全文化認知,特別具有重要性。建議:建議管理階層應該重視病人安全文化的建立,管理階層重視,基層員工才會重視,病人安全文化方可建立。

Purpose: This study aimed to explore the correlation between hospital employee satisfaction (HES) and patient safety culture awareness (PSCA). Methods: A cross-study was used in this study, the time of the survey was from 2018/09 to 2019/02, the subject was a regional teaching hospital that included 1,377 employees. The sampling method was a census and surveying from the website. The questionnaire included HES, PSCA, and the demography. We sent 1,377 questionnaires, received 849 cases and its response rate was 61.66%, there were 507 cases with validation. Results: Based on our analysis, most respondents were female (78.3%), married (53.5%), non-supervisor (85.2%), and nurse (54.2%). The analysis of HES and PSCA, the result showed male, higher education level, or supervisor, they had a significant satisfaction and awareness than others (p<.05), and the correlation between HES and PSCA, showed a significant positive relationship (p<.05). Moreover, the HES could be used to significantly predicate the PSCA level. Conclusions: when existed a higher HES that also existed a higher PSCA, especial in the dimension of "interaction with supervisor", "stability", and "promotion", those three dimensions in HES were special important to PSCA. Suggestions: According to our results, if the administration is concerned with the PSCA more, the staff will concern it also, then will exist a sustainable PSCA in a hospital.
