一位幼兒教師生涯發展-敘說研究

A Narrative Inquiry into the Career Development of a Preschool Teacher

摘要


本研究旨在探討一位資深幼兒教師生涯發展歷程。以教師生涯為主軸,追溯成長經驗與轉變因素、教師的教學專業理念和實際經驗,成為完整的教師生涯探索。本文係經由幼兒教師同意得以進行敘說研究,以訪談作為主要資料蒐集方法,並輔以觀察、反思札記、文件分析等策略,進而整理與分析前復時間長達一年。依據上述研究目的與方法,藉由本文往返於理論與對話的探索,瞭解幼教老師生涯成長歷程約略分成幾個階段:(一)啟蒙與培訓;(二)體驗與反思:(三)出走幼教:(四)失意與重新出發;(五)豁然開朗與勉勵。資深幼兒教師教學理念、價值觀之前復脈絡相連,其中蘊含「成長」與「發展」的核心概念,不同工作環境與在職學習不斷地覺察與反省是專業成長重要的關鍵。終究,能從生活經驗琢磨一條適合自己出路,形塑認同與反思成為教師生涯發展之重要課題。

This study aimed to investigate the career development of a senior preschool teacher. Centered on this teacher's career, it explored factors affecting personal transformation, growth experience, characteristics, professional ideas of teaching, and practical experience of teaching of this teacher. A narrative inquiry was conducted with consent of this preschool teacher. Data collection was mainly based on interview and assisted by observation, reflection on journals, and document analysis. The research data collected during a period of one year were organized and analyzed. According to the above objectives and methods, this study attempted to understand this preschool teacher's career development through exploration between theories and dialogues. This preschool teacher's career development process could be roughly divided into the following stages: (1) receiving enlightenment and training, (2) gaining experience and making reflections, (3) running away from preschool education, (4) getting lost and having a restart, (5) being enlightened and offering encouragement. The teaching ideas and values of this preschool teacher were coherent throughout the teacher's career development, where ”growth” and ”development” were the core concepts, and constant inspections and self-examinations in different work environments and during on-the-job training were the keys to professional growth. Finally, through life experiences, a suitable way to career development could be obtained. Shaping of identity and introspection thus became important issues in this teacher's career development
