The purpose of this study was to discuss the motivation of volunteers attaining service at communities on city at southern Taiwan. This study utilized questionnaires to survey these communities that have outstanding records on evaluation activities run by city government, and one hundred and fifty five volunteers were involved in this research. The results of the study indicated that volunteers have been affected by five elements to attain service as follow: improve attitude of life, make prosperities living, learning interpersonal skills, attain different activities, and work with people with different ages. The finding of this study can be used as a reference to community organization as well as administration units. In addition, further study can expand areas of investigation to obtain treasure responds.
