Since the Environmental Education Act was promulgated in 2010 and taken in active in 2011 a number of fields of natural and cultural resources have applied a certificated probation, offered by the Environmental Protection Administration (EPA). As to certificate environmental education facility and field is the first time applied in Taiwan the applicants have their own idea about the criteria of certification which is quit different from those proposed by the EPA. The study tries to analyze four dimensions which are very important to prepare proper documents for application. The analysis, based on both theoretical and practical implementation, concluded various characteristics of environmental education facilities and fields of Taiwan, professional staff of environmental education, curriculum of environmental education, and environmental education management of this site. We hope this paper will essentially define environmental education facility and field as for environmental education professional field in which serves environmental education activities to meet some criteria. In addition, we hope this paper provides practical know-how for those who try to certificate their environmental education facilities and fields.
