探討臺中海線地區母親教養方式和幼兒攻擊行為之相關性

Associations Between Maternal Parenting Style and Preschoolers' Aggressive Behavior in the Coastal Districts of Taichung

摘要


本研究旨在探討臺中海線地區母親教養方式和幼兒攻擊行為的相關性,以247位幼兒及其母親為研究對象,使用「母親教養方式量表」以及「幼兒社會行為量表」為研究工具。主要的結果:(一)臺中海線地區母親的教養方式傾向「民主威信」型;(二)臺中海線地區幼兒的攻擊行為很少出現;(三)不同教育程度的母親在「民主威信」、「寬鬆放任」教養方式有顯著的差異,工作有無的母親在「寬鬆放任」教養方式有顯著的差異;(四)不同性別的幼兒在「外顯攻擊」有顯著的差異,不同母親教育程度的幼兒在「外顯攻擊」及「關係攻擊」有顯著的差異;(五)母親「專制權威」教養方式與幼兒「外顯攻擊」呈現正相關。最後,研究者統整研究結果並提出建議。

This study aimed to explore the associations of mothers' parenting with preschoolers' aggressive behavior in the coastal districts of Taichung city. The sample consisted of 247 preschoolers and their mothers. Corresponding questionnaires were completed by preschoolers' mothers and teachers to collect data on maternal parenting style and preschoolers' aggressive behavior. Descriptive and referential statistics were used to analyze the data. The main findings of this present study were as follows: (1) Mothers tended to adopt authoritative parenting; (2) Preschoolers' aggressive behavior rarely occurred; (3) Mothers' authoritative parenting and permissive parenting significantly varied depending on maternal educational level while mothers' permissive parenting varied depending on mothers' occupation; (4) Boys significantly showed more overt aggression than girls did. And preschoolers' overt aggression and relational aggression varied depending on maternal educational level; and (5) Mothers' authoritarian parenting showed a positive correlation with preschoolers' overt aggression. Based on the findings, suggestions for parents, preschool teachers, the whole society and future researchers are provided.
