孟子智論探析

The study of Mencius opinion of Wisdom

摘要


孟子言善性,謂仁義禮智根於心,乃天之所予人者,且為人異於禽獸之處,亦即人之所以為人的特質。更引用子貢「仁且智,夫子既聖矣」之語,道出其理想人格典範須兼具仁與智。然而孔子以仁為主,孟子言「仁義」,荀子重「禮」,相對而言;似乎「智」所受的關注顯得黯然。此不惟孔孟荀聖哲如此,後人對仁義禮智的研究,也多集中在仁、義、禮。然孟子將智列入人之所以為人的特質,必有其對智的看法,故本文欲從《孟子》一書有關智的論述中,一探孟子的智論。在從孟子的是非之心智之端,到「仁且智,聖也」這個過程,知智之端指的是辨別的能力,要順著自然本性經過不斷且專心致志的學習,方能提高辨別之能而成「善察明辨」之智。將此完整具體之智透過「仁」對於愛的推己及人,便為愛人且能治人之聖,而「智」之大用顯矣。

The process from that heart of right and wrong is the beginning of wisdom to the "Benevolence and Wisdom, Saint ". We understand that the beginning of wisdom is the ability to discern. Need to follow the natural nature of learning through continuous and dedicated. In order to improve the ability to identify into "good Chaming resolution" of wisdom. This true wisdom,via the ability of "benevolence" "Benevolence" for the love of the Reciprocity. Then for the love of the holy and can treat the person. We know the most usefulness of wisdom.
