The agricultural road is the main transportation route for the transportation of production materials and products in the countryside, and it is the lifeblood of maintaining the safety of the residents of the hillside. It has been more than ten years since the construction of the numbered agricultural roads in 1999 to the completion in 2009. The number of agricultural roads that have been recorded is 8,678 and 12,857 kilometers. Some numbered agricultural roads have been diverted, roads are abandoned or land has been changed, so they are corrected. In order to conform to the current situation, it is essential to prevent disasters on sloping land. In this study, the geographic information system was used in conjunction with the latest road map data of the Ministry of the Interior to significantly correct the numbered agricultural road map data, which was consolidated to 8,669 and 11,625 kilometers. Most of the road sections have been updated to 2021, which is a major breakthrough. However, some road sections cannot be directly corrected by the geographic information system, with a total of 1,429 kilometers (about 12.3% of the total length), which can only be reviewed by on-site surveys when human and material resources permit in the future.
