Decision Model for Evaluation of Satisfaction With Admission Examination Policy by Fuzzy Theory

摘要

Evaluating the satisfaction associated with the implementation of policy is an important feedback mechanism for policy development. This study used fuzzy theory to facilitate the evaluation of satisfaction with policy associated with admission exams for the 12-year basic education program in Taiwan. We first defined satisfaction using fuzzy intervals then defuzzified these values to calculate total satisfaction. The proposed evaluation system was then empirically tested. Participants included 92 principals and 92 teachers from junior high schools in Taiwan. The principals and teachers both requested substantial modifications to admission exams policy of 12-years basic education by non-testing spirit.
