摘要

Chi, Slotta,& deLeeuw（1994）認為物理科學概念的科學意義和學生質樸概念的初始意義分屬在不同的本體類別，將造成學生概念改變的困難。例如，有些基礎物理科學概念在學生質樸概念中被分類為物質類別，然而就科學社群則被分類為過程本體類別。因此，學生所理解物理概念是屬於物質類別，應用物質的行為和屬性去解釋概念及其與其他概念之交互作用，於是迷思概念因此產生。Chi等人建議學生在學習物理概念的過程，必須能辨別他們的初始本體類別，並比較於科學社群之本體類別。本研究選取中部地區某國中九年級的一個班作為樣本，透過學生迷思概念診斷測驗，輔以半結構式晤談，探討九年級學生迷思概念類型及其本體類別，並與科學社群之科學概念作一比較，結果發現，學生的迷思概念可區分為同概念類別內、同概念類別間以及跨概念類別間等三種類型。

Chi, Slotta, & deLeeuw(1994) considered that scientific meaning of physical science concepts belong to a different ontological category than naïve intuitive meaning, and this is what causes difficulty of conceptual change. For example, some basic physical science concepts are conceived by naïve students as belonging to the ontological category of material substance, whereas scientists conceive of them as entities belonging to the ontological category of processes category. Thus students perceive physics concepts to belong to the same ontological category as material substance, so that they use the behavior and properties of matter to interpret the behavior and properties of processes. Chi etc. made the assertion that students need to differentiate their intuitive ontology of these concepts from their physical ontology. This study chose ninth-grade students in junior high school in central Taiwan as subject, investigate the kind of misconceptios and ontological category from diagnosis test in the misconception of the torque and rotational motion and from interview, and compared with science concepts of scientists. According to the result of this study, the misconception that the students qualify can be divided into three types: conceptual change within an ontological category in the same conception, conceptual change across an ontological category in the same conception, conceptual change across an ontological category in different conceptions.
