A New and Old Learning Strategy: Learning Notes Method

摘要


物理系課程艱澀難懂,學生讀了多少,懂了什麼,自己不清楚,別人無法知曉,老師也無從幫忙。作者基於自身經驗歸納出「吸收新知的本質」,再據此提出「學生自編筆記學習法」。此法要求學生將所學自行編寫成筆記,學生若能寫出,顯示其對學習內容有正確了解。若無法做到,就他們已撰寫的部份可了解其程度與遭受的困難,給予適時的協助。寫出來的筆記亦是學生知識的一部份,只要復習自編的筆記,很快就能鞏固所學,非常熟悉。而且再次閱讀自編筆記,程度將會更加精進。因此作者認為學生若能善用自編筆記之策略,將能更有效率的吸收新知,精進學習。

Physics courses are difficult. Students can not clearly realize how and what they have done when learning. Teachers also do not know and can not help them. We concluded the characteristics of learning new knowledge based on our experiences, and then propose a learning strategy named Learning Notes Method. This method asks students to reorganize and write down what they have learned after class. If the students can do it, that means they learned well. If not, the teachers could find out how and what the students learned according to their notes. The notes could be taken as a portion of students' knowledge. If they forget in the future, they can recover by reading their notes. Hence, students could have high learning performance with Learning Notes Method.
