一門經濟通識課程的成長與建立－「經濟學與現代社會」

A Reform of a Core Economics Curriculum-Taking the Course ＂Economics and Contemporary Society＂ as an Example

摘要

本文介紹一門經濟通識課，由「經濟學概論」成長演變至「經濟學與現代社會」的過程。「經濟學與現代社會」和之前課程的差別在於，它是問題解決導向的主題式教學；同時，它也滿足長庚大學核心通識課程的所有要求。除此之外，本文也介紹國內與長庚大學通識教育的改革，並藉以梳理出這些教育改革政策對個別教師課程改革的影響。最後，本文討論「經濟學與現代社會」課程成長演化過程中，長庚大學學生對此課程的滿意度變化，並且將此課程與目前國內幾門優良的經濟通識課進行比較。

This paper reports an economics course reform which is transformed from a basic economics course to a core economics curriculum. The main difference between the reformed result, the core economics curriculum titled as Economics and Contemporary Society, and its previous version, a basic economics course, is that the reformed core economics curriculum adopts a thematic teaching which is based on problem solving. In this paper, we compare this reformed economics course with others among Taiwan's colleges, and discuss students' response from the reform. This course reform is completed under the course reform policy in Center for General Education at Chang Gung University. Meanwhile, we also introduce the course reform process of general education at Chang Gung University in the paper.
