Poetic Creation of City Environment

Poetic city, which is based on traditional Chinese spiritscape1 aesthetics, is an important aesthetic aim of a modern city environmental construction. A poetic city has not only the beautiful natural environment of the mountains and water, but also the regional tradition of shanshui culture, which is an organic combination of a city natural and cultrual environment. Creating a poetic modern city needs to show the poetic environment of the city natural mountains and water, to create the cultural life with poetry and pictures, and to choose a model of the city environmental development with distinctive regional characteristics.
